1. Registration & WHOIS
Netkeel acts as a reseller for domain registrations. By registering a domain, you agree to:
Accuracy: Provide and maintain current, complete, and accurate WHOIS contact information. Providing false data is a material breach that may lead to domain cancellation.
Privacy: For eligible extensions, Netkeel includes WHOIS Privacy Protection to shield your personal details from public databases.
Agent Status: You authorize Netkeel to act as your "Designated Agent" to approve changes to registrant information on your behalf to speed up the management process.
2. Renewals & Transfers
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring your domain is renewed. While we may send automated renewal reminders, it remains your responsibility to ensure your domain is renewed before expiration. Netkeel is not liable for any loss resulting from an expired, suspended, or deleted domain.
Locks: New registrations and certain contact changes are subject to a 60-day transfer lock per ICANN regulations.
Fees: All domain registration and renewal fees are non-refundable once the transaction is processed with the registry.
3. Ownership & Disputes
Ownership: The person or entity listed as the "Registrant" in the WHOIS data is considered the legal owner of the domain.
Disputes: You agree to be bound by the ICANN Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) regarding any trademark or ownership challenges.
4. Compliance & Registry Rules
Legal Use: Domain usage must comply with all applicable laws.
Takedowns: Netkeel reserves the right to comply with legal mandates, court orders, or Registry-level requirements to suspend or restrict services in cases of confirmed illegal activity (e.g., phishing or malware).
Registrant Rights: You acknowledge the ICANN Registrant Rights and Responsibilities, available at icann.org.
