What is my IP address?
The public IP address websites see when you visit them, with its network and approximate location.

How it works
What the results mean
This is the public address your connection uses on the internet. It usually belongs to your internet provider, mobile network, VPN or office network. It is not the private address your device has on your home network, such as one starting with 192.168.
The location comes from IP geolocation data. It is usually right about the country, often only approximate for the city, and it shows the VPN's or the mobile network's location when you use one.
The network (ASN) and organisation identify who announces the address on the internet. Reverse DNS is the name the owner of the address has given it, if they set one. If you see an IPv6 address, your connection prefers IPv6; you may have an IPv4 address too.
