Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Netkeel LLC ("Netkeel", "we") collects when you use our website and panel, why, and what rights you have. For data about your account we are the controller. For personal data inside the websites you host (for example your visitors' details), you are the controller and we process it only on your instructions to provide the hosting.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile photo if you add one, and two-factor settings.
• Billing details: company name, address and tax ID if you enter them, your usage, and payment history. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we see only the card brand, last four digits and expiry date.
• Sign-in and security data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, and the approximate location worked out from the IP address, so you can see where your account is signed in and we can spot unusual activity.
• Activity in the panel: a log of changes made in your workspace and by whom, and the support tickets you send.
• Service data: server and website settings, resource usage, uptime and logs needed to run, monitor and secure your servers.

2. How we use it

• Providing the Services: managing your account, running your servers, billing you and answering support requests (performing our contract with you).
• Security: using logs and technical data to monitor performance, detect abuse and fraud, and protect your account and our infrastructure (legitimate interests).
• Compliance: keeping financial records, meeting legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Service.
• Service messages: telling you about failed backups, payment problems and other things that affect your servers.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with providers that help us run Netkeel, under agreements that protect it:

• Cloud infrastructure: Vultr hosts the servers you create, in the regions you choose.
• Payments: Stripe processes card payments and stores card details.
• DNS: Cloudflare provides DNS for website preview addresses.
• SSL certificates: Let's Encrypt receives the domain names it issues certificates for.
• Page speed checks: when you run a speed test, the website's address is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights.
• Your own storage: if you connect an off-site backup bucket, backups are sent to the provider you choose.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or where needed to protect the rights and safety of Netkeel, our customers or the public. Some providers may process data outside your country; where needed, we rely on standard contractual clauses or similar safeguards.

4. Security and retention

We protect data with technical and organisational measures, including strict access controls, encryption of stored credentials, and server monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe.

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Services and for billing and legal purposes. When you delete your account, we delete your servers and account data, except billing records we must keep by law. Security logs may be kept longer to help prevent fraud and abuse.

5. Cookies

The panel uses only cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and complain to your data protection authority. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time. You can change most details yourself in My account in the panel; for anything else, contact support@netkeel.com.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will tell you by email or in the panel before the change applies.
