Last updated 12 July 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to every server, website and account on Netkeel, including what your team members and your websites' users do.
1. Illegal and malicious activity
Netkeel may be used for lawful purposes only. You may not use it for:
- Malicious activity: phishing, distributing malware, hacking, or operating botnets.
- Network abuse: port scanning, IP spoofing, DDoS attacks, or attacking or overloading other systems.
- Illegal activity: anything that breaks applicable laws or regulations.
- Unauthorised access: trying to access other customers' servers or our systems without permission.
2. Resource use
Your server's resources are yours, but they run on shared provider networks. You may not:
- mine cryptocurrency;
- run high-frequency crawlers or scrapers against other sites;
- run anything that harms the performance, security or stability of our platform or our providers' networks.
We may limit or suspend a server whose activity threatens the stability of our platform or our providers' networks.
3. Content
You are responsible for everything hosted in your account. The following are not allowed:
- Adult content: pornographic or sexually explicit material.
- Gambling: betting, lotteries or gaming for money.
- Infringement: content that violates copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
- Harmful material: content that is defamatory, promotes hate or incites violence.
4. Email and messaging
Websites on Netkeel send email through the SMTP service you choose. To protect everyone's sending reputation:
- No spam: sending unsolicited bulk email is not allowed.
- Mailing lists: lists must be double opt-in. Buying or scraping email lists is not allowed.
- Compliance: messages must follow anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
5. What happens if the policy is broken
We prefer to solve problems by talking to you first. To protect our platform and customers, we may:
- Warn you about minor or first-time violations;
- Suspend a server or account immediately for serious violations such as malware, spam, phishing, security threats or illegal activity;
- Terminate the account for repeated, intentional or serious violations;
- Take any other step reasonably needed to protect the security, stability and integrity of our platform.
6. Reporting abuse
If you believe a website or server on Netkeel breaks this policy, email abuse@netkeel.com with the details.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If you keep using Netkeel after a change, the updated policy applies.
