What is not available yet.

Staging, cloning, moving to another server and deploying from Git are not available for Joomla websites yet. Major upgrades, such as Joomla 5 to Joomla 6, are done from Joomla's administrator, not from the panel.

How are updates done?

When a newer version is available, click Update in the panel. Netkeel takes a backup, then updates Joomla with its own updater. If the site does not answer afterwards, its files and database are put back automatically.

Can I upgrade to a new major version from the panel?

No. Run Joomla's pre-update check in its administrator, then update from there. The panel shows the version installed on the server.

Do I need to set up cron?

No. The server runs Joomla's scheduled tasks every 5 minutes as the website, and Joomla's page-view scheduler is switched off.

Which PHP versions does Joomla run on?

PHP 8.3 or newer. Choose the version under PHP; the panel won't switch a Joomla website to an older one.

What does beta mean?

Joomla hosting is new on Netkeel. Your websites are backed up and looked after like any other, but some features WordPress websites have, such as staging, cloning and moving to another server, are not available for Joomla yet.
