Hermes Agent hosting Beta
Hermes Agent hosting, on a server of its own.
Hermes Agent, by Nous Research, is a task agent with tools and a scheduler that you can reach from your messaging apps. Netkeel installs it on a private cloud server, puts its dashboard behind a password and keeps it running, backed up and updated.

How it works
Hermes Agent live in three steps.
Create a Hermes Agent server
Choose Hermes Agent and a size with at least 2 GB of memory. The server runs one agent.
2 GB or moreAdd its website
This website is the agent's dashboard, on your domain or a preview address. Netkeel sets the agent up in a few minutes.
Hosting › AI agentAdd your keys
Add your AI provider's key, a messaging app's bot token and the people allowed to use it, then open the dashboard.
TELEGRAM_ALLOWED_USERSWhat you get
What Netkeel does for Hermes Agent.
On every server too: a firewall with automatic banning, free SSL, logs, monitoring and alerts, and team access with roles. See all features →
Good to know
What is not available.
Running a scheduled job right away from the dashboard doesn't work (jobs still run on their schedule), the local browser tool isn't installed, and Hermes Agent's own update command is replaced by updates from the panel. Staging, cloning and moving are not available for an agent's website. Set a spending limit on your AI provider keys.
Step-by-step guides are in the Hermes Agent docs.
Pricing
Pay for the server, not for each site.
Hermes Agent needs a server with at least 2 GB of memory: a 2 GB Standard server on Vultr is $19/mo, billed by the hour and never more than the monthly price. Each Hermes Agent server runs one agent.

Questions
Hermes Agent hosting, answered.
Which AI providers can I use?
You bring your own key. Common ones are OPENROUTER_API_KEY, ANTHROPIC_API_KEY and OPENAI_API_KEY, with OPENAI_BASE_URL for compatible services, and you can add other names too.
How do I choose who can talk to the agent?
Each bot token needs an allow list: for example, put your Telegram user ID in TELEGRAM_ALLOWED_USERS, or use GATEWAY_ALLOWED_USERS for every app.
Does the price include AI usage?
No. Netkeel bills you for the server; your AI provider bills you for what the agent uses with your key. Set a spending limit on each key with your provider.
How is Hermes Agent updated?
From the panel. When a newer version is offered, click Update: Netkeel takes a backup, restarts the agent on the new version and puts the old one back if it does not start within two minutes.
What does beta mean?
Hermes Agent hosting is new on Netkeel. The agent is backed up, updated and looked after for you, but a few of its features, such as running a scheduled job right away from the dashboard, do not work on Netkeel yet.
