DNS checker

Look up the DNS records of any domain, as the internet sees them right now.

How it works

What the records mean

We ask a public DNS resolver for the records of the name you enter, so you see what the internet sees now rather than an answer your own computer has cached.

A and AAAA point a name at an IPv4 or IPv6 address. CNAME makes a name an alias of another name. MX lists the servers that receive email. TXT holds text such as domain verification and email sender rules. NS names the servers that answer for the domain, SOA holds the zone's basic settings, and CAA says which certificate authorities may issue certificates for it.

TTL is how many seconds resolvers may keep an answer. After you change a record, some visitors can still get the old answer until its TTL runs out.
