How it works
What the results mean
We request the address from our servers, not from your computer, follow any redirects, and report the status code and how long the response took. If the site answers us but not you, the problem is probably between you and the site: your connection, a cached DNS answer, a browser extension or a block on your network.
The status code tells you more. Codes in the 200s mean the page loaded. 300s are redirects, which we follow and list. 400s mean the server answered but refused the request or could not find the page. 500s mean the server or the application behind it failed.
A check is a snapshot from one place at one moment. A site can be reachable from one part of the world and not another, or go up and down, so check again if the result surprises you.
