The server page

Open Servers and click a server to open its page. The top shows the server’s name, status, provider, plan, location and IP address, with Reboot and Add website buttons. The menu on the left opens each section.

  • Gauges for CPU (with load), memory, storage and bandwidth.
  • Usage history: CPU, memory and disk over 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. Hover the chart to read a point. Below it is the uptime for the last 30 days.
  • What’s using memory: memory split by service, plus swap. If swap is more than half used, the panel suggests a larger plan.
  • Server details: provider, plan, location, IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, stack and web server, agent version and when the server was created.
  • At a glance: shortcuts to websites, services, off-site backup and the firewall.

Netkeel counts a server as down while it stops reporting or while its services (web server, PHP, database) are down. Choose 7 days, 30 days or 90 days to see:

  • the uptime percentage, number of incidents, total downtime and longest incident
  • Day by day: one bar per day. Hover a day to see its downtime.
  • Incidents: each period counted as down, with when it started and ended.

Every website on the server, with its status, PHP version and disk use. Click one to open it, or click Add website.

The programs that serve your websites: Nginx, Apache (on Nginx + Apache servers), PHP, MariaDB, Redis, Fail2ban and the Netkeel agent. Each shows whether it is running and how often it restarted itself.

  • Click Restart next to a service to restart it. Websites may answer slowly or with errors for a few seconds.
  • Click Restart all to reload Nginx and restart the other services one after another.

Restarts are only possible while the server is reporting. PHP versions lists the PHP versions installed on the server. You choose each website’s version on its own PHP page.

  • Off-site backup: turn encrypted off-site copies on or off for the whole server, see where they are stored, and the price.
  • Backups by website: each website’s schedule, number of backups and latest backup. Click a website to back it up or restore it.

See Backups for details.

The firewall, automatic blocking and your own blocked addresses. See Firewall and SSH.

What happened on the server and its websites, newest first, with who did it. Click Show more for older entries.

  • Name: rename the server in Netkeel.
  • Plan and power: Upgrade to a bigger plan and Reboot the server. See Upgrade and storage. This card also shows the agent version; the agent updates itself.
  • Delete server: see Reboot and delete.
