Servers
A server is a private cloud server from Vultr, DigitalOcean or Akamai Cloud (Linode). Netkeel installs a managed stack on it (Nginx, optionally with Apache, plus PHP, MariaDB and Redis) and runs it for you. Your websites live on your servers, as many per server as it can handle.
The Servers page
Section titled “The Servers page”Open Servers in the sidebar to see every server in your workspace. Each card shows:
- the provider, size and location
- a status: Online, Installing stack, Not reporting, Setup failed and others
- live meters for CPU, Memory, Storage and Bandwidth
- the stack, the web server and the version of the Netkeel agent
Switch between cards and a list with the view buttons, filter by provider, or search by name. Click a card, or Manage, to open the server’s page. The ⋮ menu on each card has Reboot server and Delete server.
Status
Section titled “Status”| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Online | The server is running and reporting to Netkeel. |
| Installing stack | The server was just created and the stack is still installing. |
| Not reporting | Netkeel has not heard from the server recently. Its websites usually keep serving; backups, updates and panel changes wait until it reconnects. |
| Setup failed | The stack never finished installing. Delete the server and create a new one. |
| Powered off, Starting, Migrating | The cloud provider reports the server in that state, for example during an upgrade. |
