Websites
Every website lives on one of your servers. A server can hold as many websites as it has room for, and adding one costs nothing extra.
The Websites list
Section titled “The Websites list”Open Websites in the sidebar to see every website in your workspace. You can search by address, filter by tag or by server, and switch between grid and list views. Click a website to open its page.
If something needs a look, such as an expiring certificate or a failed task, a strip above the list says how many things need attention. Click View all for the details.
A website’s page
Section titled “A website’s page”The top of the page shows the website’s address, its tags and its DNS status (for example DNS resolved or DNS points elsewhere). Click the DNS status to see what to change at your domain provider.
Above the title, the Live tab is the website itself. If the website has a staging copy, a Staging tab sits next to it. See Staging.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The overview shows:
- where the website runs: provider, location, server, web server, IPv4 address and home directory, each copyable where it makes sense;
- its status, SSL certificate, last backup, PHP version and object cache;
- a preview image of the home page, with Refresh preview;
- Loading speed scores and a Traffic summary for the last 7 days (see Logs and analytics).
Everyday actions
Section titled “Everyday actions”The overview has a row of actions: Create backup, Clone website, Clone to staging, Purge cache, Restart PHP and Visit website. On every other section the same actions are in the More menu at the top right.
The More menu also holds Maintenance mode, Disable website, Move to another server, the Site down? Recovery tools and Delete website.
The section menu
Section titled “The section menu”The menu on the left has two groups:
- WordPress: plugins, themes, users, updates and other WordPress tools. See WordPress.
- Hosting: Analytics, Logs, Domains & SSL, Cache, Web server, Password & access, Backups, File manager, PHP, Redis, SMTP, Databases, Redirects, Cron jobs, SSH / SFTP and Import & export.
Click a group’s name to fold it away. The panel remembers your choice.
